I want you to know how much you and your training methods mean to me. I sent you my mare, Dirty Kisses, after she’d been rejected by two world class trainers from the Pilot Point, TX area. They said she was unbreakable, too aggressive, too reactive, too skittish, and bad minded. She came home a unbroken, terrified, dangerous filly. The first time I took her to the arena she was on her hind feet half the way. Kisses is out of my daughter's multiple all around APHA mare, Down Right Dirty and out of a top producing show sire. She was financially and emotionally valuable to me. I didn’t want her to be a pasture ornament... Or worse. I asked my Farrier, Roger Olsen, and my vet, Chris Forten, who the best “good broke” horse trainer was in the state. Both Roger and Chris recommended you (and only you). They said that when my horse arrived home she would have a solid foundation, know all of her basics, perfected and that you would have taught me how to ride it. Well, all of it was true plus more. I asked if you could not only break Kisses for me to ride, but to make her ready to be a lesson and therapy horse for our equine therapy program here at the farm. That meant riding her bareback, able to relax around loud noises and unexpected movements, quiet around handicapped children (who run up without warning!), and patient and kind in every situation. This sounded close to impossible...but wasn’t! When Kisses came home she was not only well broke, quiet, relaxed, well mannered, ready to work, but a true lover of people, a equine ambassador of love! Here at the farm Kisses is the hands down favorite of children and adults alike! Last winter I was called by Brava Magazine to do an article on Unbridled Faith Farm and the work that we do here. They wanted to do a photo shoot the next day. I wanted to do an outdoor shoot in the new snow, riding a horse with no bridle or saddle. The only problem was I didn’t have a horse that was broke to ride bridless. That morning I was able to teach Kisses to stop and turn without a bridle; on a windy, 15 degrees below zero, day. Because of the foundation you built into her, her desire to learn and perform, the photo shoot was a great success and I was able to do something I had never dreamed I could do. Kisses and I have become a team with no limits! We have done more than I imagined I’d ever do on a horse! The time and money I spent with you Patty, was the best investment I’ve ever made! I have sent other horses to you, each one went on to do more than I expected! One of the horses I sent to you went to the 4-H state show and won Grand Champion at his very first show! Another horse that was in training with you won 6 Grand Champions and two All Around Champions in her first year. I sent you a two year old APHA filly to sell and you found her a home with the top 5 youth in the nation. I can’t begin to thank you enough! I recommend you to anyone who wants a ‘good broke’ horse that you can rely on and enjoy!
